ALICANTE
Alicante is a lovely city, the capital of the Costa Blanca also known as �The City of Light�, with history stretching back over 3,000 years and embracing many
civilizations. Alicante is full of places of interest and culture ranging from the castle, from which you can see breathtaking views of the city, including the famous Alicante port and the Mediterranean ocean to the lovely beaches that stretch the length of the city. There are numerous shops of all types ranging from corner shops to large superstores. In the city and you can spend hour after hour roaming the streets for bargains. A cultural city with wide parks, gardens and a city centre with lots of businesses it seems that Alicante never sleeps and in the evening the city takes on a different look with the port and the promenade being very popular tourist destinations. If you prefer a lazy day down at the beach, a busy day shopping or a day of culture then you will be hard placed to find a better place to visit than Alicante.
